Smart Mobility: From traditional cars to smarter mobility solutions, connected, electric vehicles and their supporting infrastructure are moving from a niche market to high volumes globally. ST provides innovative solutions that help make driving safer, greener, and more connected for everyone. At the ST booth, a mock-up car will integrate 31 demos, 90% of which are live. This demo car shows ST’s comprehensive portfolio of automotive solutions for Car Electrification, Body & Convenience, and Connectivity.ST will also display a Secure NFC Car Access demo showcasing seamless device-to-vehicle connectivity.
Power & Energy Management: The need for more efficient power and energy management across all devices and systems is key to addressing increasing global energy demand while reducing environmental impacts. ST technology and solutions enable customers to increase energy efficiency everywhere and support the use of renewable energy sources. At Electronica China 2020, ST will highlight a new precision-position motor-control solution together with the new STSPIN HV series. To showcase its wide portfolio in Power & Energy, Motor Control, Automation and Security & Connectivity, ST will also display demos on Power over Ethernet (PoE), Wireless Charging, BlueNRG-Mesh for Smart Industry, Seamless Security, NFC for Smart LED Driver, and LED Display with ST60 short-range RF transceivers.
IoT & 5G: Large-scale deployment of the Internet of Things (IoT) has been accelerated by the rollout of 5G connectivity. ST provides sensors, embedded-processing solutions, connectivity, security and power management, as well as tools and ecosystems to make development fast and easy for our customers. At the show, the Machine-Learning Motor Unbalance Detection solution with the LSM6DSOX IMU will demonstrate how we use sensors to monitor motor performance. The unbalanced motor is detected by the Machine Learning Core of the LSM6DSOX and the information is sent to a display by Bluetooth Low Energy. AI (Artificial Intelligence) is shaping the Chinese market at a break-neck pace. ST will display demos with AI-Enabled Face Expression and Object Detection based on Neural Networks algorithms running on the STM32 MCUs. Other solutions on display include SensorTile.Box, True Wireless (TWS) Earbuds, VR Eyewear, STM32 GUI Solution, and NFC Smart Lock and Smart Cup.
